By default, email addresses are only available to members within a group. The excpetion to this are the officials e.g. leaders of groups, whose email has to be published to allow contact for potential members.

The site is a mixed public and membership site; certain information is only available when logged on. Note that if you are a member of several groups, what you can see is the sum of all the permissions you may have.

A persistent cookie is used to allow public accesses to be equated to users when they are not logged in.
